I love when a song makes me feel good, opens my heart and uplifts me. When the joyful energy flows through my nervous and endocrine systems with a healthy, positive message, I am fine! I like to start my day that way, oftentimes singing and dancing along!

I love pretty much all music, but I’m mostly a devotional, folk-rock, classic rock, R&B, outlaw country, progressive bluegrass kind of a guy. I play the guitar and sing too! One of my favorites, the Moody Blues who did “Nights in White Satin” and so many others was finally inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2018, fifty years after their advent. Congratulations, mates!

A fantastic song discovery I’ve recently made is a new version of an Eighties’ Steve Winwood hit, “Higher Love” Winwood was a key member of The Sixties’ bands, The Spencer Davis Group, Traffic and Blind Faith.

He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2004 with Traffic. Steve had a big Eighties solo comeback with his hit album “Back in the High Life”. One the songs on it was “Higher Love”, which earned him two Grammys for Record of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

I thought it was a good but not great song until I discovered his 2016 slowed down, acoustical collaboration with his daughter Lilly. In this exquisite rendition, you can focus on the inspiring words of hope via the beautiful tune and sweet voices of father and daughter. It’s the kind of song I want to sing and dance to everyday to remind me to live in my higher consciousness; love, joy and service to all.

That’s how the energy flows, via an open heart and mind and a healthy nervous and glandular system, which reminds me, don’t forget to call for an appointment to see how we can help you get your energy balanced and working better via chiropractic and acupuncture wellness care!

Have a great week!!!
